House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., is urging House Democrats to vote against a spending bill to fund the government if it does not include funding for Democratic priorities.
"House and Senate Democratic Leadership has continued to insist on parity in the CAPS, which we insist should include funding for opioids, veterans, pensions, NIH, and support for the DREAM Act," Pelosi wrote in a letter to Democrats. "Unless we see a respect for our values and priorities, we continue to urge a strong NO on the Continuing Resolution."

But it don’t stop them from constantly spewing their, “This isn’t who we are” or, “This doesn’t reflect our values” cowflop.
If these people had to abide by real honorable values, they’d run away like they were on fire.
Since their value is zero, that’s how much the spending should be for all their values. Zero.
Democrats have no values.

I don’t know anybody who cares much one way or the other. If it does “shut down” I hope it is for a long while so unneeded personnel can be identified. It is all kabuki theater unless the shut down actually results in some totally non essential personnel being identified and let go. I would love to see that.

If you want DACA, your entire caucus must vote to fully fund the wall and have it 100% built before DACA can become a reality. If it is that important to the Democrats, they would vote yes on this.
If not, STFU and GTH.

That whole “only essential government employees report to work” thing always gets to me. If a government employess is not essential then why the heck are we paying them in the first place?
It is mainly a pathetic make - work program for slacking losers.
Shut it down. What govt program doesn’t hurt the county by being unavailable should be illiminated immediately and everyone on the payroll immediately laid off! They had no sympathy for us during Obamas time in office when we were getting sacked! SACK THE RATS!
Guess what, witch? The American people didn’t vote for your values did they? You guys been getting slaughtered for 10 years locally and nationally in elections how many Statehouses and how many Governors do you have? Just don’t vote for it. Because the majority of the country doesn t have your values in San Francisco that’s for sure.
