By now the plight of the Rohingya Muslims is all too familiar. Pushed out of Myanmar (Burma) by the Burmese army which burned down their villages, killed men, and raped women, the Rohingya have settled into unruly camps in Bangladesh. But the ordeal for the Rohingya is not over. They suffer from beatings, rape, and sexual slavery... at the hands of their fellow Rohingya.
All too often, a Rohingya woman is fated to be passed, like chattel, from man to man -- father to husband, soldier to sex trafficker -- even in the supposed safety of the refugee camp.State-sponsored violence causes men to beat their wives? No, I think we're seeing "conservative customs." What kind of "conservative customs" would these be? Presbyterian ones? Catholic ones? Methodist ones? Or something else? The article does not speculate.Domestic abuse is rife among the Rohingya, say experts working in the camps -- a product of both conservative customs and a society scarred by decades of state-sponsored violence and more recent displacement.
Over one six-day period in October, United Nations staff recorded 306 incidents of gender-based violence in the camps. Of those attacks, 96 percent required a referral to emergency medical services, officials said.Of course, he beats his pregnant wife! What kind of a question is that anyway?Rohingya men can be forthright about their impulses.
Of course I beat my wife, said Sadrul Ameen, who arrived in a Bangladeshi refugee camp three months ago with his pregnant wife and child.

Merry Christmas!
This year Somalis come in only second for "worst people in the world." Thanks Rohingya!
Merry Christmas to you, too, Nully.
Lacking Burmese victims, the Rohinga continue the same practices which got them ejected from Burma on each other.
That one was predictable.
Approval of wife-beating is part of almost all (all?) of the Ask the Imam-type sites. That this happens in an Islamic refugee camp should surprise no one who has paid any attention at all.
“This is the problem with Muslim refugees. On the one hand, you can feel sympathy for them because they are fleeing a war zone. Who wants to live in a war zone?”
No, actually, because Islam creates war zones where previously there wasn’t. It creates war zones in lands which aren’t Muslim once there are enough Muslims that they start feeling their oats. It creates war zones in Muslim lands should a dispute arise about what flavor of Islam.
Sympathy is for the victims of Islam who, while fleeing Islam’s aggression, aren’t also bringing Islam with them.
In a civilized society we call that : "Hedonism "
or self-indulgent behavior.
These savages give hedonism a bad name.

Hey, it’s cultural! /s
Typical behavior of Mohammed’s followers.
"Sympathy is for the victims of Islam who, while fleeing Islams aggression, arent also bringing Islam with them."
Spot on...on both counts..
The leader of 969 movement claimed that Burmas buddhists have no choice but stand up fighting against islamists. “You can be full of love and kindness, but you cannot sleep next to a mad dog.”
Rohinga: Islam faithfully implemented.
Islam is like human malware. Bad programmimg.
I guess the way I feel, the world should kill all the men here. Then maybe the children could grow up sane and the women could have normal lives with other men who are not savages. Then again, they are all Muslims, so maybe that’s too much to hope for.
I think the best solution would be to come up with a method to sterilize muslim males in large batches. Could possibly be done with nano-bots that would be inhaled and eventually migrate to their gonads and burrow in like shipworms.
Call the project “Crop Dusting for Peace on Earth.” Get some Israeli and German scientists on board and I’ll bet we could make some progress.
