Some truth in what you say, though I believe you overstate the danger based on news reports. Anyone having these dogs should have to take them to a training school of some sort.
Agreed there but I am not listening to news. I have read up on the breed. My lady neighbor has one and she is not physically capable of handling the dog even if it is on a leash. Many men cannot either. But the same can be said for numerous other breeds yet it doesnt matter because those dogs are not genetically disposed to kill with the jaws and tremendous strength to do so.
We had one year old. It was a well known amdloved neighborhood friendly dog. But once it tore into the kid the neighbors had to shoot it to get it off after it was too late. The beat on the thing with shovels to no avail.
