I saw this movie.
Thought it was really terrible.
So shallow it seemed to think drinking, cigars and unconstructive ego rages were the sum total of his character. At least he showed he cared about his people.
“The Gathering Storm”, with Albert Finney as Churchill was much better.
Really showed what he had to deal with from his own Party, much like Trump with the GOP.
(continued from above post). I have to say it didn’t occur to me that the movie might have been any kind of commentary on Trump. Maybe a comment on leaders feeling guilty about their sometimes necessary duty to send people to risk their lives in war
