Taxes are taxes.

No taxes are not paid until your escrow agent pays the tax. Call them right away to have them pay January tax early, unless you are subject to alternative minimum tax.

Back when I still had to escrow I got a 1099 that told the interest and property taxes paid in the previous year.

I tried to do this, but my tax due in February isn't posted yet.

Are you asking about IMPOUND accounts or are you currently in an escrow?

IF you pay your mortgage—Principal, Interest, Taxes, Insurance P I T I-—all in one payment to the lender, you may not be able to move any payments forward.
However, a call to your lender could clear this up.
