Which begs the question: How the hell do these guys retire with full pension at 49 or 50?
Screw that.
Fire his ass for cause so he is denied his pension.
Then prosecute him for Conspiracy to Deny Civil Rights Under Color of Law.
He and Lois Lerner laughing all the way to the bank!
It is that way for most government employees.
Mr. McCabe should in no way be fired by biased political commentary, said Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Tex.).
I have several friends who retired from the military at 38 with 20 years in, and 48 with 30 years.
I also have a friend who retired from the Birmingham, AL P.D. at 45, and started a second career as a trauma nurse.
I think that when age and years of service total 70 then you can retire and draw your pension.
With McCabe, his eligibility is 20 years of service and 50 years old. I think all fed LEOs have mandatory retirement at 57.
Most government has this kind of generosity. Just now noticing?
Also, don’t be fooled. Deputy Directors of the FBI all retire to the private sector when a new Director takes over. Claims that his retirement is out of fear or is some kind of punishment is just blogger wishful thinking. He’ll probably be making seven figures for a law firm by this time next year.
