Clinton campaign propaganda appears to have triggered Obama administration spying on Trumps campaign.
The FBIs deputy director Andrew McCabe testified Tuesday at a marathon seven-hour closed-door hearing of the House Intelligence Committee. According to the now-infamous text message sent by FBI agent Peter Strzok to his paramour, FBI lawyer Lisa Page, it was in McCabes office that top FBI counterintelligence officials discussed what they saw as the frightening possibility of a Trump presidency.
That was during the stretch run of the 2016 campaign, no more than a couple of weeks after they started receiving the Steele dossier the Clinton campaigns opposition-research reports, written by former British spy Christopher Steele, about Trumps purportedly conspiratorial relationship with Vladimir Putins regime in Russia.

I don't need a lecture - as far as severity I
know there is no comparison. The only comparison I'm making
here on this thread between the two is the spying - like Watergate it was carried out by clumsy hacks who thought they had to take action when all they ended up accomplishing was creating a big stink, mainly for themselves compounded with coverups, stonewalling & lying. Same kind of stink, different decade.

Oh; sorry. I wasn’t directing the post to you personally. It was to the universe in general — the universe who is ignorant. I don’t believe anyone on FR is ignorant. A random rant.

And a fine rant it was, too. FR is a great place to vent, let it out and get stuff off your mind. And I've seen some of such quality that they could have easily qualified as an op-ed column in a major media publication.
