I was a big comic book fan (back when they cost ten cents).

My interest began to fade when SPIDERMAN appeared. Here was a super hero that really wasn’t. He had many personal problems and hang ups. My own life was full of personal problems and hang ups and comics were a fantasy world I could escape to. Marvel ruined that.

This was of course close to 60 years ago. I am sadden in how the left have ruined every thing from my childhood.

I remember those days! I liked comic books but never cared for superheros. I still have some COMBAT and THRILLER comics packed away. Earlier days I liked the cartoon and Cisco Kid comics.

Looking at it from a different perspective, a lot of people think this is exactly why Spider-man is one of the best superheroes. He’s was one of the first to actually be a three-dimensional character.
