Despite Roy Moores shocking loss to Doug Jones in the Alabama special election for its vacated U.S. Senate seat, one of the Republicans chief backers, Steve Bannon is pressing on. A former executive for Donald Trumps presidential campaign turned White House chief strategist, Bannon returned to his post at Breitbartafter the president fired him in August. Since then, the eccentric conservative figure has floated plenty of praise and criticism for his former employer, the remaining members of his White House administration, and just about everyone else on the American political spectrum.
According to Vanity Fairs Gabriel Sherman, Bannon is also toying with the idea of a possible presidential run in 2020. I realize in hindsight I was just a staffer, and Im not a good staffer. I had influence, I had a lot of influence, but just influence, he said of his time working for Trump. I have power. I can actually drive things in a certain direction. Hence, per Shermans reporting, Bannons possible presidential ambitions:

And Sarah Huckabee as VP
They didnt get my vote that is not the issue
Mitt was a dandy
Hillary wasnt a slob but her fashion screams lower middle class and not willing to get ( pay for) image advice from a real power executive
Bannon talks a good line but he looks like a slob
As a dress-for-success believer iI’d question the personal judgement and other qualities of a slob for leadership of the US
Maybe thats just me and a few tens of millions of other people
Doubtful - likely just a tweak to the MSM.
Bannon’s planning to run against President Trump?
Oh sure, must be well dressed, perfect hair and must have the D.C. affluent arrogant attitude, be former lawyer, and above all spent their career as a professional politician....That’s who we want...Gak~
It was Moore and his campaign manager's job to get Moore elected. Don't blame Bannon.
You're quite right. He does look like a slob.
I'm sure if he decides to enter the political arena he will clean up his act.
In the meantime, his mind is sterling and his politics are in line with mine.
I love your use of the word "dandy". That is a very excellent word.
I urge you to look past the stupid coat and sloppy haircut to see the core of the man. Bannon is awesome.
What do you suspect Bannon's true colors to be?
Now I know where President Trump gets his penchant for kicking fire ant mounds and watching them scurry.
You seem to enjoy making no point and making no sense, and definitely do not have psychic powers. Bannon’s no Donald Trump, but if you like him so much, I hope you’ll be very happy together.
Same.
There are very few Republicans, if any, that I trust. It comes from a lifetime of being deceived and lied to.
I don't blame myself. I blame the charlatans.
If I was making no point or sense, I would certainly not enjoy it. However, I think I make perfect sense. It's a shame you can't understand my point. Maybe it's my failure. Let me try again.
You said this.
Yeah, sure, whatever Steve-Oh. Win an election first, any election, if you want to favorably impress someone.
I interpreted that to mean that only a man that had been elected to a political position would impress you or in your opinion, anybody else.
I define a politician as somebody that is elected to political office. I went on to point out to you that Bannon is a politician in the same sense that you and I (and everybody on FR) are politicians due to our willingness to engage in political discourse.
I then asked you what you so admired about (elected) politicians.
Does that make more sense to you? Do you understand my point?
I also tried to make the point that many others have made on this thread, that the Donald had not been elected to political office before he was elected to the Presidency. He seems perfectly acceptable to you now and yet Bannon is not. That, to me, makes no sense, and I am pointing that out to you. I call it hypocrisy.
I would be curious to know at which point in the Donald's campaign you decided that he would be an acceptable President, given the fact that he had not been elected to political office, any office.
I don't know, but I would be curious to know, if you supported the Donald during the primaries and your opinion of him at the time.
So yes, I do enjoy Bannon, and I plan on continuing to do so until he betrays himself as presented or my values. At the moment, he represents me just as the Donald does. Elected or not.
Make sense?
P.s. This statement makes it seem that you have given up trying to prove any point and want to dismiss my argument as nonsensical without countering it.
And what do psychic powers have to do with anything? Did I claim to have psychic powers. You'll have to explain that one, or be accused yourself of making no sense.
No, Bannon is no Donald Trump. He is much more articulate and lacks the Donald's sense of humor. Those are two major differences I can think of off the top of my head.
He is also no Roonald Reagan. He is not the public speaker that Reagan was and again, lacks his sense of humor and charm.
I will go so far as to say that no two men are the same as each other. You did get one right.
Your move.
Yep.
When you lie all the time, the result is no one believes you.
Oh well, live and learn.
