What is taking place behind the curtain?
Someone in the presidenmt’s inner circle, someone with influence, is promoting this.
Presidents don’t research and root out every detail about every nominee on their own.
They get input and recommendations from advisors and confidants.
In his defense, it sounds like she is a hold-over from Uhbama, so they could very well just be doing the easy thing of “status quo” so they don’t have to pick something new.
The answer is clear, ask the anonymous "source". Those guys are the most sought after and quoted people in Washington................LOL!
