Gee, that loss of the state tax deduction will probably encourage more snowbirds, commuters, etc to use lower tax states as their primary residence by the 2020 census, costing another safe Dem seat.

Under an analysis using a calculator from the University of Michigan’s Population Studies Research Center, the current population estimates would have the following effect on representation in the 435-seat Congress.
Gain seats:
Colorado +1
Florida +1
North Carolina +1
Oregon +1
Texas +2
Lose seats:
Illinois -1
Michigan -1
Minnesota -1
New York -1
Pennsylvania -1
West Virginia -1

They won't lose a Dem seat. They will move to a red state in the south and bring their liberalism and their votes with them.
