60% of municipal cops in NJ make over $100,000 per year. The average school administrator makes $130,000 per year. There are countless municipalities and school districts. NJ residents pay exhorbitant real estate, income and sales taxes, not to mention tolls, DMV fees and all other sorts of taxes and fees. And they get very little in return. Yet all of the blame will go to Trump and the Republicans in Congress for closing a tax loophole.

Salaries are the least of it. Pensions and health care bennies are the biggest costs. Insane ROI expectations on state pension plans make it worse. This tax plan may actually help state pension plans. If so, public employees and retirees will have another reason to thank Trump.
