We switched years ago to newer, lower electric usage types of bulbs. No complaint from me.
The light is different, perhaps not so bight. But they seem to last virtually forever.
This is certainly not the political issue I wish to die on the cross over.
As LEDs got cheaper I switched every bulb in my house that I could. I recently had my kitchen ceiling redone, the o,d fluorescents pulled out, and LED can lights put in. Love the new ceiling!
Outside is fine except the LED bulbs NEVER last as long as advertised.
