FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe testified behind closed doors for nearly eight hours Tuesday on Capitol Hill, amid calls for his firing over allegations of conflicts of interest and anti-Trump political prejudice at the law enforcement bureau.
McCabe's testimony before the House Intelligence Committee, which had been rescheduled from last week, was the latest development in a controversy swirling around text messages exchanged between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, who worked on Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe.
McCabe was believed to be the "Andy" to whom Strzok and Page referred in their messages.

Gowdy and other committee members were tight-lipped on the details of McCabe’s testimony on Tuesday, and most avoided speaking with reporters. But the committee’s ranking member,U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., said McCabe “has been a professional FBI agent” and that he does not understand “the calls of some to fire him.”

Also, no leaks - it must have been brutal for McCabe, because Dems would be leaking any exonerating information.

I consider it a good sign that he is testifying behind closed doors rather than just another Trey Gowdy horse and pony show for the cameras.
More and more I am afraid you are correct. Souls were sold to make Obama king. Nothing but groves of poison trees with poison fruit.
I don’t know how he can survive. I mean, we now have pretty solid evidence that, while working as an FBI leader, he held a meeting IN HIS OFFICE where he discussed stopping a candidate for political office from winning, and then received e-mails about plans for more aggressive action as “insurance” from other people who reported to him.
The sending of official e-mail talking about hwo to stop a candidate from office would clearly be a violation, using government resources for politics. That he didn’t report his subordinate shows he was involved. That he held meetings in his office shows that there was a conspiracy.
No leaks, isn’t that a surprise. I’m guessing that McCabe said things that the dems don’t want to go public with.

Until we peons in the public see actual results from these hearings, color me bored with the kabuki dance and totally skeptical that anything positive will happen.

Trey Gowdy is a congressional Joe Dirt. Nobody takes his empty cans symphony as anything substantive.
Or it could have been ALL leaked, the RAT media just refuses to print the damage to their comrades.
Indeed he did not seem to be his previously chipper self such as when he was campaigning for his wife and likely breaking the Hatch Act Law in doing so.
