Yep, true. I just grabbed the first version that came up on image search. There is a "newer" one that goes thru 2012 somewhere. Although not in a Dalton or Maunder minimum yet, all indications are that we are in the early stage of one.

So, Time magazine was correct. In the 70's.

you can see there's not as big a dip as the Dalton Minimum, nor one predicted. Also you can see the reason for the warming in the 2000's, namely the highest solar activity in 100's if not 1000's of years. Then the current downturn should cause a couple of decades of cooling offset by CO2 heat trapping.

I'm a huge fan of global warming as a matter of survival. There are other predictions than the one above indicating a possible Maunder-type minimum. But all predictions are speculative including the one I posted.
