Keep in mind that none of these accomplishments would have occurred if NeverTrumpers like Lowry had their way.

None of this is to deny Trumps failings. Congressional leaders often have to work around his shambolic governing style. Next year could bring a bout of protectionism, and his opposition to entitlement reform during the campaign makes it unlikely Republicans will get a handle on spending. His toxic persona could drive a Democratic wave in the 2018 midterms. What a turd Rich Lowry is. Geez. Can't give compliments without a backhanded slap.

    Your opinion is irrelevant, Lowry.

President Trump is bold and strong. He stands on his own 2 feet. Not a wuss. He cuts through the mess and gets to the important issues. Not afraid to lead. 2 years ago I would have never have voted for him. Im certainly glad that I changed my mind and voted for him.

Fair enough, but he is someone “in the toilet” as far as I’m concerned. And I don’t think he is an “imbecile” at all; he isn’t stupid. Remember when National Review had their magazine cover “AGAINST TRUMP” *after* Trump was the nominee? He has an agenda.

Take it when you can get it. It might not have been possible but it is happening and they are giving him credit.

To: Oshkalaboomboom
Illegals are thankful he is giving them tax cuts instead of citizens, and that record numbers of them are entering the country now.

To: Kay
If he’s so bold why does he refuse to get rid of the ACA?

To: libh8er
Give it a few more months. The Never Trumpers are well on their way to prostrating themselves in hopes of reclaiming a scintilla of relevance.
And President Trump is just getting started.

I’m not arguing your assessment; I just prefer not coming across that while having my breakfast. There are some nice ladies on this forum who we should be mindful of as well.

I don’t feel comfortable hearing praise from the RINO’s for President Trump.
Well, I hope Lowry will become more angry with him in the new year.
I’ll feel better then.

I believe the “Against Trump” National Review cover feature was actually published just before the primaries began in early 2016.

The “Against Trump” National Review issue was dated February 15, 2016, well after the Iowa and New Hampshire primary.

Maybe the print version came out later and/or maybe they posted a different version online, but this link is dated January 21, 2016:

Weasel Boy stumbled on the obvious. Big of him to give Trump credit. He's still a Deep State Weasel and needs to be treated accordingly.

Yes, you are correct. But he was still part of the “AGAINST TRUMP” movement. I mis-remembered when he/they did that.
