December birth baby Taylor Swift is finishing 2017 in grand fashion. She just turned 28 and has the best-selling album of the year, a feat that was accomplished just one week after its release.
Young, rich, talented, and the world is hers...what's not to be happy about?
According to liberal America, everything.

They aren’t mad at Swift because she’s endorsed Trump or stated conservative views - they’re mad at her because she hasn’t stated any views at all. In the liberal mind, anyone who does not proclaim sufficient devotion to The Cause is immediately suspect. These people would feel wonderfully at home in Stalin’s Russia or Kim Jon Un’s North Korea.
She is shrewd and talented. Maybe she is just applying the "Michael Jordan" rule of keeping politics away from her business. I find it appalling that she is being berated for keeping her political opinions to herself. Why should I care what her politics are unless she makes it my business?
After all the talk about how intolerant we Deplorables are, it's always the shrill Anti-Trumpers who can't stand that anyone disagrees with them.
One of my favorite songs ever.
However, there is one that has just a little more heart to it, a little more soul.
Just sometimes you find something that stands out from what was produced from the mold....
Sometimes there is a little bit more.
That one doesn't do it for me.
As Tears Go By.
That one does.
I literally stopped dead in my tracks the first time I heard it.
Try “You are in Love”
I literally stopped dead in my tracks the first time I heard it.”

From what I’ve heard of her music, I think I like her earliest stuff the best.
My college roommate knows the Swift family quite well from Nashville. He says they are conservative, and he suspects Taylor is too, based on brief, casual conversations with her. But she is VERY VERY circumspect as to her true thoughts. He says Taylor is “simply a genius.” She is responsible for far more than people realize. Lyrics, music, even cover design and video storyboarding. She wrote lyrics to Grammy winning songs at 15. Meanwhile Beyonce has not written a SINGLE SONG of her own, and the sheeple worship the trashy bitch.
It’s ok, I’ll give you that. :-)
But the beginning sounds just like “Sailing” by Christopher Cross!
It spoke to me anyway, and isn't that was real music is suppose to do? :D
I sez: “I think I like her earliest stuff the best”.
(and I’m that way with Liz Phair’s music, too.)
^^^^ Bam! Great Post montag813
I'm all about that! I appreciate you taking the time to share your favorites!
I'm always interested in what other people listen to and love musically.
I still remember when that disgusting bully Kanye West stole her award moment, and her microphone, to say Beyoncé should have won instead.
They’ve never stopped picking on her from what I’ve seen.
By the way to be clear I am by no means denigrating the horror of the Soviet invasion of Hungary in 1956. Most people who are not true historians or didnt have family members involved probably dont even know it happened.
Another one I REALLY like from "Reputation" is "Getaway Car" which has gotten next to no exposer.
I almost made the joke "Taylor Swift has never once denounced the September 11th attacks" joke. But thought better of it.
Well since some reports show Kayne West is sitting on $58,000,000 of debt and Ms. Swift is sitting on $280,000,000 of cash, it seems clear to me who is the winner. (Too tired to provide links, they are easy to search.)
And it nice to be sharing and listening to some fine tunes on a Monday eve?
“Taylor Swift - Getaway Car”

I’ve listened to more Taylor Swift music tonight than I’ve heretofore heard in my life
I think she wrote “Mean” about him, and if what you say is true, it makes her song even better/prophetic LOL
