Almost right the correct name is RAF Station Mildenhall all air bases in the UK are owned by the RAF. Such as RAF Station Lakenheath, RAF Station Alconbury, RAF Station Shepherds Grove etc etc...yes we do lease the RAF Base....
And many years ago I lived at RAF Bruntingthorpe while my dad was serving there. It was about an hour or so from RAF Alconbury and a couple of hours from RAF Lakenheath.
