My point exactly.

He went to the trouble to say he supported the Tax Cut ten days ago to soften people’s feelings toward him at home. Then, when his vote may matter he makes a point of leaving Washington to show Trump that there is nothing he will ever do to assist a Trump Presidency.

The guy isn’t even an honorable foe — just a jerk, and beyond self-centered.
