In hindsight, the most important thing said this year came on Jan. 3. Chuck Schumer, leader of Senate Democrats, warned President-elect Trump he would pay a price for disputing intelligence officials’ findings of Russian meddling.
“Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,” Schumer declared.
Schumer was right about a vendetta, but wrong about timing. It’s now clear that intelligence officials already had started “getting back” at the next commander in chief.
They started in the summer of 2016.
In early August, Mike Morell, who was acting head of the CIA under Barack Obama, broke with agency tradition by entering the political fray to endorse Hillary Clinton.
He praised her as “highly qualified” and said Trump was “not only unqualified for the job, but he may well pose a threat to our national security.”

Actually I would be satisfied if he would do ANYTHING effective on any timeline. He has been there almost a year and all Ive seen is talk. I reject the “he is doing everything behind the scenes” nonsense. That is wishful thinking not anything based on any evidence.
Describe the harm in detail but concisely.
I think Trump and Sessions may be in this together, because Trump wouldn’t keep him as AG, and Sessions was anti-Establishment as a senator. Also, Trump did say after he won the Election that the Clintons are good people, and we don’t care anymore. I think Trump is giving Mueller a little more time until he allows Sessions to do something.
On a scale of one to ten, how unreasonable is it to expect that Sessions is not doing work on these very matters that we have no idea about?

My judgment based on experience is that he has done little or nothing on any of the obama clinton scandals or word would have leaked out. You dont conduct grand jury investigations without hostile witnesses who run to their friendly press complaining. The fact that no one is saying anything suggests the reason is that nothing is being done.
We do know this about Sessions.
His recusal from everything has casused great harm to Trump’s agenda
and to a good man, Fylnn.
It’s not complicated so I know you understand. Possibly you’re trying to make it seem irrelevant to the conversation. But what I’m talking about is one of the great pillars of reality. And it tells us why Trump will take them down when JFK couldn’t.

Trump’s entire agenda was killed in his first year due to a cloud hanging
over his head because of the Special Council that would not have
happened if Sessions had not recused himself.
Sessions should get the hell out.
He has caused a lot of damage.
Maybe we should clarify what his agenda is before we start to think it was defeated.

Everything to come or has already come from Muleheads Council
is directly linked to Sessions recusal, such as Flynn’s guilty plea.
Have you considered the question why did Flynn lie in the first place?
