Sessions needs to stop the misuse of intelligence for politics
NY Post ^ | Dec 17, 2017 | Michael Goodwin

In hindsight, the most important thing said this year came on Jan. 3. Chuck Schumer, leader of Senate Democrats, warned President-elect Trump he would pay a price for disputing intelligence officials’ findings of Russian meddling.

“Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,” Schumer declared.

Schumer was right about a vendetta, but wrong about timing. It’s now clear that intelligence officials already had started “getting back” at the next commander in chief.

They started in the summer of 2016.

In early August, Mike Morell, who was acting head of the CIA under Barack Obama, broke with agency tradition by entering the political fray to endorse Hillary Clinton.

He praised her as “highly qualified” and said Trump was “not only unqualified for the job, but he may well pose a threat to our national security.”

At this point in time we do not know what Sessions is doing behind the scene.

If we have learned anything about President Trump he looks at the long term.

I am not saying that Sessions is doing something, only that we do not know. I will give the President time to see what rabbit is pulled out of the hat.

WOW - same reputation as the mob, M13, crime families, Blackstone Rangers and every other thug group in the world has.

JFK chose to go to war with them as well - how'd that turn out?

What proportion of Sessions’ work is known to the public, compared to what he does that’s unknown?

If you were to write a letter to AG Sessions asking him to conduct his business according to your personally desired timeline, I don’t think he would comply.

What about the work Sessions is doing that you don’t know about?

That’s all top secret eyes only unless you are one of the many Jeffy has said he will not prosecute. The rest of what he’s doing is just chasing MS13 and various drug gangs.

There are no top officials in the DOJ working on anything except holding tightly to their ‘Get Out of Jail Free’ cards issued by the Clintons and countersigned by the GOPe and the Deep State.

No one will be prosecuted by anyone no matter what - there is just too much dirt, if exposed the entire nation would crash due to lack of trust and become ungovernable. Yes, they got and will get away with it, which could, in the end, lead to the same state of affairs as soon as the two tiered justice system sinks in with the public.

When the government is allowed to surveil citizens, without probably cause as certified by a signed affidavit of standard and a Court order:

OF COURSE the info will be used for political purposes.

Only a fool could believe otherwise.

This is the essential basis of the “deep state”.

We must rid ourselves of the entirety of the Patriot Act to have any chance of being rid of the deep state, and the use of the enforcement organs of government for political gain.

There is no other way.

“What about the work Sessions is doing that you don’t know about?”

There is no evidence that Sessions is doing anything.

Are you aware of something the rest of us are not? Or, is that a wishful feeling on your part?

1) the intelligence agencies are made up of stupider individuals than they were back then

2) In being disobedient to his Creator and Redeemer, JFK gave himself into the hand of God’s enemy

Sessions was a great US Senator, a class act, particularly when it came to promoting the conservative agenda and specifically on the issue of immigration. But right now we do not need a class act as AG. We need a pitbull who will shred the forest of deceit and bias and lies with its teeth to get to the bottom of the swamp.

Would you expect the Attorney General to reveal everything he’s doing? Do you understand the nature of his work?

Do you think Trump supporters get the point I’m making?

Then why do you go on with this?

Sessions is AWOL when the country needs him most.

He should resign.

He's waiting for "Evidence"

Sessions says he will act if there is evidence of bias in the Russia probe

“Would you expect the Attorney General to reveal everything he’s doing?”

He’s been on the job for 9 months.

He has delivered exactly nothing, and has recused himself for no good reason from the most important case in the history of DOJ.

If he was doing his job there would be indictments and trials already. That is obvious to even the most casual observer.

“Do you understand the nature of his work?”

Quite well.

“Then why do you go on with this?”

Because you’re dead wrong and Sessions is asleep at the wheel.

My guess would be that it’s something like two percent known and ninety eight percent unknown.

“My guess”

The rest of us have an abundance of evidence that he is doing nothing. He’s even stated he will do nothing about multiple corrupt officials from Lois Lerner to Hillary Clinton.

You mean the work Sessions did to recuse himself from everything?

Great harm has already come to Trump, Flynn and Trump’s agenda
due to Sessions recusal from AG.

Think about that great harm. It’s not invisible. It’s starring u in the face.
