Alas Babylon confirms a normal rat turnout vs. a low republican turnout? In Virginia and in Alabama I don’t think we could have fielded weaker candidates? The turnout for Trump in Alabama rallies and recently in Pensacola, Florida do not portend doom in 2018. Even the daily Rasmussen poll confirms Trump at 40% plus approvals. The corporate tax cut combined with repatriation of US currency will ignite GDP Growth of at least 5% IMO. The Gipper’s cuts led to an astounding 8% GDP growth. The increase in revenue will not only pay down our debt but will fund massive military budgets and an infrastructure bill that will finally get the dem congress off their hands. Trump’s popularity can’t help but improve as our economy booms and our roads, bridges and airports get face lifts compliments of the Donald.

Another important ingredient for republican success next year will be the beginning construction on a border wall. Ryan must help the administration get the necessary funding for FY2019.

See my post #87. 40% plus approval is not the stuff of winning elections.
