We’re all in agreement with you on that one.

We are terrible at letting America know that all level of immigrants take jobs away or take welfare payments. It’s not right to condemn anyone, unemployed American or an immigrant, to a life accomplishing bothing but gov’t handout checks

.

They shouldn’t be allowed in at all. If someone comes to work they come alone. And then go home.

Personally I would be much more concerned about the F1 student visas. The numbers of people coming in by abusing that program absolutely dwarfs H1 and H4.

I say end the work passes for spouses and do NOT ALLOW spouses to come with the workers, until they have been here 6-months or even a full YEAR!

Many other countries will not allow you to take your wife /family with you on a work visa. Many of them require that you be on the job for a certain amount of time before they are allowed to come and some do not allow spouse/family to ever join the visa-worker.

Will this slow the H-1B applications and diminish the pool of workers? YES! But then the American companies will have to hire Americans and pay better wages and even better yet, it will encourage American companies to hire Americans, grow those workers, train those workers and KEEP their work staff happy (you know, like they USED to do in America)!!

The H4 visa allowed them to live in the U.S. so long as the husband’s H1B was valid. But they were not allowed to work.

Not sure if it has changed, but this is the same way that it used to work for our ex-patriots. A co-worker of mine was on temporary assignment in England back in the 80s. His wife came with him, but she was not allowed to work while they were there.

A good incentive to keep "temporary" workers from becoming permanent drains, if you ask me.

Why do we want immigrants to take our best high paying jobs???

Because the USA has become a cut throat Godless globalist controlled country were the dollar is King.

Americans have a hard time finding housing in the bay area also.

And I’m supposed to feel sorry for foreigners stealing their jobs?

Perhaps thats part of it. I tend to think its because the American generation entering the workforce is so dumb down with their SJW education, they dont have what it takes to compete with their foreign counter-parts.

Look for congress to fix back whatever the president breaks. $$$ trumps patriotism and sovereignty.

Ask an American CEO to spend time and money to train his own workers, and he’ll look at you as if you had just requested that he consume a bowl full of flaming cow dung.
