There’s an island in the Chesapeake Bay that’s slowly sinking. Global warmists believe the water is rising instead, even though it’s only a local rise and not affecting other areas nearby.

Tangier Island. It's not sinking, it's eroding and it's been through many, many cycles of erosion and replenishment. Tangier's not going anywhere.

I thought it was Smith Island. Residents were interviewed about “climate change” during the 2016 campaign and most all of them supported Trump so the story “died” an early death in the news cycle. The good old boys on the Shore would likely prefer to have Hillary sucked up in the swamps of Blackwater in Dorchester County.

I think the article was about Smith Island. It was an inconsequential amount of sinking. Don’t really remember all that well, just trying to make a point of the silliness of HuffPosts article
