It’s the WAY Rubio wants to change the Child Credit. If you PAY TAXES, and have Kids, you can take the credit ($2000 per child). Rubio wants to give $2000 per child EVEN IF THEY DON’T PAY TAXES ON EARNINGS !!!
Exactly. It isn’t a “tax credit.” It is welfare. It is also one of the biggest tax scam frauds in US history. Bill Clinton expanded EITC for the Takers, and during Barry Soetoro’s reign of terror, the IRS would not even check to see if illegals claims were fraudulent. Billions and billions went to scammers, and still do.
Hence, illegals claimed “children” they didn’t have, even claiming nephews and nieces in Mexico.
But the GOPe will fold, and give Rubio more of our money. McCain is in Walter Reed - so I don’t know if he can be counted on for another Yes vote.
The worst part about the child credit is that no proof is required that the child exists.
It works that way, now ... It needs to end. It's back-door welfare.
