Speaking live on the Fox News Channel Tuesday night after Roy Moore was declared the loser in the special U.S. Senate election in Alabama, Richard Fowler said this: “Roy Moore is guilty of saying things like ‘LGBT people should be put to death.'” The program’s host, Shannon Bream, seemed taken aback by the assertion, which was clearly a lie – classic fake news, or in this case, fake commentary.

Fowler, an up and coming leftist talking head, is a paid contributor to Fox News and he appears frequently on a variety of Fox News Channel programs as an expert political analyst and sometimes, as in the case of the program The Five, as one of the co-hosts.
About fourteen minutes after he said what he did about Moore, Fowler was on camera again and he corrected himself, noting that Moore had only said that LGBT should be against the law. (Actually, in a 2005 interview with leftist Bill Press on C-SPAN, Moore said when he was pressed, according to CNN, that “homosexual conduct” should be illegal.) Fowler did not offer an apology, to Moore or to the channel’s viewers, for his earlier lie.
The damage had been done, though. Fowler’s original comment on Moore was delivered with emotional emphasis, his later “correction” not so much. And not only that: for some inexplicable reason, the post-election results program on which Fowler appeared, Fox News@Night, which originally aired live from 11 P.M. to 12 midnight E.T. on FNC, was repeated four more times: at 12 Midnight and at 1, 2, and 3 A.M., with no live updates. During each replay, Fowler’s lie about Moore was heard again. It could have been edited out or bleeped, but it was not.

Fox News played a major role in his defeat. Hannity did him no favors, from that ridiculous “interview” grilling him like a liberal from CNN, to ignoring anyone that would speak on Moore’s behalf. As a matter of fact no Roy Moore supporters were ever on Fox. The Yearbook liar’s step-step, who called her a certified lying gold digger was summarily ignored by all the media, including Fox. The “victimized” women stories stories were repeated every ten minutes. Fox is complicit in electing a pro abortion far left liberal to the US Senate.
Being a Christen I am no longer under the tenets set forth in the Old Testament. Although I still believe some I don’t agree with others. Jesus most certainly did not call for the killing of sinners....which all of us are!!!
You are mistaken thinking you can sin and get away with it. Paul tells us that because we are under Grace doesn't mean we should sin more. If you sin after receiving the blood of Jesus, there is no more sacrifice to cover that sin.
One must be careful if you sit in a church that preaches grace everyday. What God is saying is if you have the love of God in your heart, then the rebellion to Him is over and He will cover your sin as you try to follow Him. If you treat His grace as a rag to wipe up your messes, you will suffer in this world.
An atheist would throw out there that I'm saying I can't eat lobster anymore, but you should know that is a dietary law, not The Law. Praying to a statue is still against the Law. Murder is against the Law.
The Old Testament is not a separate Book. Jesus came to fulfill the Old Testament. Jesus DID NOT come to start a new religion. If sodomy was against God's Law in the Old Testament, it's still against God's Law today, He never changes. If I were to commit adultery today, I can repent and God is quick to forgive, but God still frowns on adultery. It is a grave mistake to think you can sin and get away with it because we gave grace today.
If you notice, Abraham found grace in the Old Testament because He believed God. Noah was found to be a righteous man because he believed God. If you call sodomy good, do you believe God or not? If you think killing babies is a woman's right, do you believe babies are fearfully and wonderfully made by God while in the womb?
It's dangerous to try to twist your thinking to rationalize your sin into something God will accept because of Grace. We have grace because no one is perfect, but it is dangerous to justify your sin thinking grace will cover it. There is a huge heart difference. God id calling His people to sanctify themselves and to renew their minds. That doesn't include sinning and falling back thinking grace will cover you. If we are transforming our minds, what are we transforming it from? Don't agree with the world system thinking God will overlook it. These are the foolish virgins spoken of in Matt 25. They were not preparing for the wedding even though they agreed to get married. The Groom's solution was to send them where they could "buy and sell" in the world if they thought like the world. If you are led by the Holy Spirit, you will resemble the Old Testament saints more than this world.
I notice you said you didn't believe in some of the tenets of the Old Testament. No one is proposing killing sinners, but that doesn't make sin lawful. The heart condition says whether you get grace or not. If you treat the Blood of Jesus as a common thing, He doesn't have to cover your sin.

The closest I’ve come to any news since I swore off watching any TV news nearly a month ago. Clicked on the link and the minute I saw Shannon Bream, I exited...Didn’t realize what it would do to me to see ANY of those talking heads again...Don’t miss any of them one little bit! Never could stand that Fowler person.

If you refused to be fruitful and multiply that was a sin understood to all, and even to be unable was considered shameful.
And even in the face of THAT, Sodom had to get so bad that even the Abrahamic bargain failed. Choice had long ago been left behind; now it was mandatory without even a symbolic quorum of 10 to protest it.

Agreed. I suggest the best approach (IMHO) to that in this thread.“Every network, newspaper, and whomever else that has slandered and libeled him” can be covered pretty comprehensively by naming “the Associated Press and its members, joint and several liability” as defendants.
But rather than merely suing for libel, I submit that what’s needed is a comprehensive class action suit alleging violation of the Sherman AntiTrust Act, and demanding triple damages as provided for under that act. And proving, not only that some of the claims against Moore are egregiously wrong, but that there is a pattern of this behavior against American society (primarily Republican voters) resulting in the wrongful prosecution of George Zimmerman, the attempted wrongful prosecution of the Duke Lacrosse 3, Rathergate, and innumerable other MSM abuses. Probably every October Surprise will fit that pattern. And "the dog that didn’t bark” in the absence of erroneous propaganda campaigns against Democrats.
The AP lost a Sherman case before SCOTUS in 1945 (on entirely different, much more limited grounds) - and SCOTUS has no reason to assume that the limited remedy demanded and granted in that case has caused the AP to stop being (as Adam Smith would put it) “a conspiracy against the public.” And given that telegraphy bandwidth is no longer scarce or expensive, the mission of the AP in conserving telegraphy bandwidth in spreading the news nationwide no longer makes the AP “too big to fail.”
