(snip)-- Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee said on Wednesday it was time to issue subpoenas to the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Justice Department, following the release of texts from FBI officials that suggested they wanted to stop Trump’s election.
“It’s time for subpoenas from our committee, not just from the intelligence committee, but from our committee. Subpoenas for documents that we rightfully should have an ability to see,” said Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), a senior member of the committee.
He also said he wanted to subpoena Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, FBI senior official Peter Strzok, and senior Justice Department official Bruce Ohr and his wife Nellie Ohr.
“We think all those individuals should be brought in for depositions and be under oath in front the committee at some point in the very near future,” Jordan said during a joint phone press conference with Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL).

I like Gowdy, too, and have for a long time. The big problem is, he lacks the authority to take meaningful action, and those who may have some authority, refuse to exercise it.

Uranium ONE and FBI-gate did NOT just happen. IT took at least passive non-action for the treason to happen. It has a community organizer's finger prints all over it and active buy in from Secretary Clinton.
Don't bet that some Republicans are involved too. We know McCain was either a useful idiot or a willing participant (actually, I think it was both). I bet even Paul Ryan is nervous today.

Why bother with more subpoenas? The targets simply refuse to appear and there are no consequences. Repeated use of silly and useless pieces of paper just make the issuers look petty and childish.
Subpoena/search warrants/kick the doors down and seize those computer assets... why do we wait so long???????

If there was any Russian collusion/meddling done, it was done at the behest of members of the last administration’s DOJ and FBI, who, until recently were part of the ‘team’ investigating our President. How many remain????
