Yes, and notice the timing: Yesterday morning McCabe suddenly has a "conflict" and is unable to testify before the House Intelligence Committee, and later that evening the IG releases the Strzok/Page text messages. There may have been some chatter that those texts were going to be released, but I'm unaware of it. I think the texts were released BECAUSE McCabe thought he could weasel out of testifying. Now he will have to testify on 12/19 and he's going to have a lot to answer for. He may end up pleading the 5th, and if he does the blow back is going to be pretty spectacular. Ohr will probably plead the 5th too.
The idea that this employee of the government has something of higher priority than testifying before Congress is patently absurd. He should be found in contempt of Congress and jailed for the remainder of this Congress just for that.
