Moore, even in Alabama, wasn’t popular at all. It was a total miscalculation for Bannon to get behind him especially when you had Mo Brooks as a potential candidate.

I don’t disagree. Brooks was my first choice, but Mitch spent 4 million to take him out.

You are correct that Moore wasn’t popular to begin with. There were many other legitimate reasons to be leery of Moore.

One of the networks showed that Moore won in a 2011 race 52%-48%, so that, 6 years ago was even very tight.
