BS. Moore was a weak candidate. The sexual scandal was only one of his many problems. He was removed from office twice, was unlikable, etc.
This special election shouldn’t have happened. Luther Strange was appointed by the governor and had a good voting record so far.
Agree. Strong suspicion that Trump was aware of Moore’s vulnerability in the primary, thus his support for Luther. He has incredible sources of information and has been gathering it for a long time. One of them is Jeff Sessions, who would be in a perfect position to know.

You want to know why the disgraced, former Governor Bentley appointed Strange? Strange agreed to not prosecute Bentley in exchange for that seat. Strange=Crook.
Strange was the darling of McConnell and the GOP, which should have been enough to make any decent conservative run screaming away from him.
Strange would have been annihilated tonight. I know that, if he were the nominee, I would have written in Mo Brooks’ name instead of voting for Strange.
I was originally a Brooks supporter and believe that he would have mad a good candidate. When Moore won the nomination, I was disappointed but I supported him.
When the media and GOPE lies and slander about Moore started, my support for Moore grew every day. I was voting Moore specifically to give the middle finger to the GOP, the media and hollywood.
