We’re not losing because Moore may have signed a yearbook 40 years ago and the Dems gave him a November surprise over it. We’re losing because we let the world get to the point where the Left has the sort of power to bring about situations like this. Conservatives have focused on ‘winning elections’ while liberals have focused on taking over all the basic institutions of society (media, education etc). The right fights through elections and outside of this is almost completely reactive. The left fights a comprehensive psychological war crossing across all facets of society.
The right is almost completely inept at intentionally creating a planned narrative. The Left can construct and promulgate narratives and powerful memes far beyond anything of the opposition and with great reliability get it into the mindspace of the public, especially the younger groups. When they get bitten by the media its almost always because something they tried backfired or went awry spontaneously.
Don’t believe me? Still gonna stay the course conservatives have been blindly following for decades? Think about it, the left has control of education, the media, half of the top of government, the vast majority of the government below the top layers and on and on. What institutions are left that we still have? Corporations? Like Google or Facebook? Churches? How’s are they doing these days?
