You sound like a person who wants people like Jones to win. I think the reason you don’t vote Democratic is because you believe in conservative values. I mean it’s about more than just winning despite that weird mantra. Most conservatives cannot be happy with this. But what are you going to do when the candidate picked is this weak, this flawed, and this plain weird that he cannot even win in a very safe conservative state? Pick real conservative candidates who don’t have deeply flawed character.
Moore had to run against his own party and the opposition. Lets face it, the allegations against Moore were released way too early to be from Democrats. They were released far enough in advance to allow the establishment to replace him and still stand a chance of winning. Weird, flawed? Those descriptions were used to describe Trump. Are you really going to let the establishment tell you who you are allowed to vote for? Pick a real conservative without a deeply flawed character? They had to go back forty years into his past, and the only allegations that were damning were highly dubious. Good luck finding that saint you are looking for. Sure this is a setback, but who really believes fighting this war for the soul of America isn’t going to have some setbacks?
Oh, and as to that, the couple hundred dollars out of my checking account will prove that wrong. But then wringing my hands because the candidate didn't meet all the establishment ideals has never stopped me before.
