Drudge Report ^

Sadly, Mitch McConnell and the Republicans succeeded in what no Democrat could: Elect a democrat to the senate. This is why I left the Republican party.

McConnell worshipper, are you? You are obviously a fan of the GOPe.

Today was the last day that I vote for a Republican. In the immortal words of Hitlery Clinton, “What difference does it make”?

Shows just how little you know.

Strange would have been slaughtered. You have no idea how he acquired his Senate seat. He’s a crooked as they come.

But, Strange was McConnell and GOP approved, so that’s all that counts, correct?

That’s hilarious: A Texan insulting Alabama voters.

There are plenty of fools in Texas, believe me. It won’t be long at all before your sainted Texas is a blue state.

It’s not just Austin. San Antonio is insanely leftist and controlled by La Raza. The fools in San Antonio were responsible for foisting the Castro Brothers on the country. Thanks for nothing.

Houston and Dallas are also far left. In a few years, Texas will become as blue as California. So you can get off your high horse.

I am very angry and disillusioned tonight. I have said things about my fellow Alabama citizens that I thought that I would never say. I have insulted the idiot and lazy Alabama voters, more than any Coastal Elitist could.

But, don’t pretend that Texas is this conservative paradise. Far from it.

Your post is right on, and made me laugh (bitterly so). I live in CA, and we always get trashed as if we’re all liberal morons. Anytime there’s a fire, earthquake, etc, here, we have people cheering for our demise. There are MANY conservatives here in CA, but yes, we’re outnumbered. I’ve also lived in Texas, and what you say is true.

I’ve only been to Alabama once for a short visit, and had a great time.

The bottom line is: We, as a country, are being invaded. Foreign and domestic, with some of the domestic actively importing the foreign.

Oh, I forgot to say that I’m glad that you had a good time on your visit to Alabama. Good conservatives like you are always welcome:)

Many people don’t care about politics. Any time I bring up the subject to my in laws, including the deep state, treason, cahoots and shenanigans going on they just say they don’t follow/bother with all that as it doesn’t affect their lives. These are people who voted Trump and were fine talking politics during the election year.

Well enjoy the next six years with Doug Jones as your senator. I’m glad you are happy with your vote, but you fucked the rest the country with your pathetic pedo candidate.

Oh, the gop faction of the uniparty understands what political power means. Goodies. Lots of goodies. They also understand that being the “loyal opposition” means getting almost as many goodies as being in control does.

Politics is a scam and we’re suckers for playing.

God tells you to choose life, yet half a million Alabama voters chose to stand with baby dissectors like Jones, Booker, Patrick, and Alyssa Milano.

Tornado season is just a few months away...could be a vibrant one.

You might want to ask a more basic question: does being involved in partisan politics help with a Christian mission?

In my view, that’s an emphatic NO. Christian conservatives have been heavily involved in partisan politics for the last 40 years. What do we have to show for it? Is abortion illegal? Is it easier or harder to practice our faith? Christians have been played for fools. The gop faction of the uniparty has been eager to solicit Christian time and treasure, but is nowhere to be seen when it’s time to actually deliver.

“But it’ll be different this time” isn’t a plan.

Politics is a scam and we’re suckers for playing.

Sounds to me like 60% of those in Alabama had better things to do. Smart people.

Christians have been heavily involved in partisan politics for the last 40 years. What do we really have to show for it? Is abortion illegal? Is it easier or harder to practice our faith than it was 40 years ago?

Politics is a scam and we’re suckers for playing.

Yeah, let's give up and not vote.

Fast forward 30 days

Oh wow, things are worse than ever before! What has politics ever done for us?

What revisionist history I’m seeing on this thread. Moore was a proven winner statewide and the one to draw a sharp contrast with an ultra liberal Democrat. He mopped the floor with Strange, a flawed candidate who would have received the same media onslaught as Moore - focused on his actions as State Attorney General. Strange would have folded like a deck of cards.

How difficult is it to understand? This had nothing to do with Moore or Alabama. This was a proxy war by the GOPe, Democrats and MSM against President Trump. Those people in Alabama who bought into the smears are naive in the extreme if they think this ends now that Moore is defeated. The cabal will now turn their guns on the President. It’s a three-front war: stall the President’s agenda - easier to do without Moore; continue the Deep state legal assault through Mueller’s biased hit team; and conduct a show trial over the bimbo allegations. The people of Alabama had an opportunity to blunt two of these attacks and sadly about 20% allowed themselves to be played by outsiders. A sad day for Alabama. An even sadder day for America.
