The Dems will always go with that type..we need to be certain that we not nominate anyone even remotely like those two. not saying Moore is..but he did a real poor job of convincing me he doesn’t have some questionable proclivities.
Sorry, perfect is the enemy of good. We’re never going to get the ideal candidate. I wasn’t fan of any of the AL GOP candidates.
But in the end we needed to drag Moore across the finish line becuase the alternative was MUCH worse. Now we have lost the seat, lost MAGA momentum and the GOPe/Dems are all fired up for 2018. We have BIG problems now.
Make no mistake, I would have certainly preferred Moore to win ,but we are always behind the eight ball..to win we have to beat the other side ,half of ours,the media and try and win a percentage of uninformed voters and Independents.To sldo that we have to carefully vet our choices..is it fair ? no..but it is reality.
