The Alabama polls closing time is 7 p.m. Central Time or 8 p.m. Eastern Time, EXCEPT for portions of Chambers County, which has opted to close an hour earlier, 6 p.m. Central Time or 7 p.m. Eastern Time. Please double check with your local polling place if you are in Chambers County.
I suspect if the numbers are too close it will likely be contested..perhaps by either side. But loooooong night it will be.
