Well, they're almost out of ammo on the fake news/astroturf front - but they are very well connected with people who are engaged in all kinds of kinetic action, and if their "civilian" options tap out, they have plenty of paramilitary and military ones.

A military coup to remove Trump would, hopefully, run the same course as the coup against Gorbachev did in 1991, but there's no guarantee.

The colonels are probably pro-Trump. The generals are probably not.
