Absolutely we should not rely on the IG.
1. It's defenders of the DOJ who want us to trust it.
2. It's not an actual "investigation" even though that word keeps getting used, when it's actually an IG review or audit, because that's what IG's do.
3. The guy in charge is an Obama appointee.
Nope, the only thing that should be acceptable is a special counsel to investigate the corruption in the DOJ. And there's much more evidence they conspired to steal the election, than there is against Trump and the Russians, which got a special counsel.
For acceptability, how about a Marine Expeditionary Unit seizing all the buildings on Constitution Avenue and starting up all-night machine gun pits at RFK stadium?
