One of the big questions surrounding the December 12 election in Alabama for the U.S. Senate seat is who is behind a mystery super PAC backing Democrat candidate Doug Jones against Republican Roy Moore. The Washington Post last Thursday claimed that there was no evidence of such funding by George Soros. However on the day before the election, Politico weighed in with a big story about the mystery super PAC, Highway 31, with much greater detail of the players involved.
First we begin with the Washington Post denial that there was evidence of Soros financing the Jones campaign via secret super PAC:

Iirc, the news reader nearly fell off his chair before he delivered the news on that poll. I wasnt paying close attention, but I remember something like that from him.
Thanks for the clarification. That poll had me a little depressed the rest of the night. RCP had shown Moore ahead by about that much from an average of polls yesterday morning. Im on Facebook pages with several Alabamians and they all say there is no support for Jones that theyve seen. Also, saw a video today of Frank Lutz telling Cavuto he didnt believe the Fox poll and that he thought Moore could win.
