When I was stationed down on Otis on Cape Cod, I used to see these town logos on the city trucks there in the various New England towns.
I remember a few had scenes like a farmer at the plow, or a person building something, and not a tree in the background. Just stone walls and fields. I remember one had this big ole hill, Blue hill outside Boston, and not a tree on it. As I’m passing the truck on Rte 128, I see the logo, and then the hill. It’s the same hill! But the real one’s thickly forested. Same outline though.
From Sharyl Attkisson:
There are supposed to be 12 separate appropriations bills, each for a different government sector. Instead, they use the “emergency” Onmibus (everything) bill to cram pork into it (or unauthorized programs) 1/3 of the money going for unauthorized programs.
There is supposed to be a review of programs every 5 years, which they fail to do. Sometimes the programs stop, but the funding still continues.
Representative Buck...several other Republican Congressmen have formed a reform caucus to end these practices.
Navy has wasted $4 billion since 2004, could have bought many fighters, ships and missiles for that money.
We need to read up on and seek out Congressman Buck.
I like to grow traditional eggplant, not those long oriental ones. The fat eggplant gives better yield and less skin per pound, and I find the skins too bitter usually, especially if the eggplant gets old.
Anyways, it's real easy to make the chips. So, I peel the eggplant, then cut into 1/2 inch slices. Than I brush heavily salted olive oil with crushed garlic onto both sides, and cook for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. THEN, I remove and put on single layers on my dehydrator.
It looks like this:
I leave them in for about 24 hours.
Then I bag them up into bundles in plastic slider FREEZER bags (don't get plain storage bags) and put in the deep freeze. When I want to eat some, I spread the frozen slices on a cookie sheet and heat to about 180 degrees (melt off any ice crystals) for a couple of hours, cool, and enjoy!
When I wore my flat cap, Gus would say...”you know you looka just like Boot Lancaster” LOL
Good times
Yeah hes a close second to Chuck U. Shoomer who has that lizard tongue thing going all the time....
Yeah, they probably "get a room" once in a while.
Now I have to make my own Gyros
I get the the lamb from this guy
I mix the lamb and beef and pork, secret hobo spices including coriander seed, make that into pattys that I grill then shave thin.
Pita is an issue, as I am not a baker, but Tatziki sauce is easy
How does the Pacific Northwest compare to Alaskan timber reserves? I had an enjoyable week this past Summer sailing Alaskan waters and marveled at the expansive stands of ever greens.
Prison.
Many colleges depend on foreign students to stay in existence.
AHA!
I see a pathway here...tax "endowments" heavily, to make up for tax-cuts elsewhere, moratorium on student visas, prohibit them from making political contributions, government enforcement on student 1st Amendment Rights, bring in the National Guard if needed.
Al Gorebullwarmingfullofshit must have been out flying his jet around the South!
Not to mention that beetle infested, dead trees aren't allowed to be cut down. Major cause of the forest fires out west this year, and probably before. IMHO
It sure do!
All the Smart French Huegonauts moved south of I-10 where it gets below 50F on those rare occasions when Hell Freezes over
We have a Taziki’s in Opelika at Tiger Town. One of our other sons is the manager, and our daughter (freshman at AU) worked there over the summer. Delish food!!
As demonstrated by these 2 Sunday interviews with Haley and Scott-the whole woman abuse thing has always been to bring it back to President Trump being a sexual predator.
I cannot tell you how disappointed I have been in my former SC governor as well as SC Sen Scott.

Yeah, I grow plenty of garlic and cucumbers, but can’t grow yogurt. I’m too lazy to go through THAT much trouble!
Our high today (Montana) is supposed to be 50ish, haven’t been below freezing at night since before Thanksgiving and I’m scared to death that batch of trees I just planted are going to get stupid and bud out in all this tropical crap and then get killed dead as stones when REAL Montana weather comes back.
Also, I got brand new plow blade on the CrummyTruck plus a snowblower that’re just sitting around doin’ nothin’.
Oh, well. Gotta have something to whine about....
I gotta head out there soon! I’m in Tallassee, and tired of going to Montgomery for everything!

The MSM and the Dems depend on an uninformed, easily manipulated public. Our education system stinks.
