A former FBI special agent ripped President Trump's criticism of the intelligence community in an article published Saturday.
Frank Montoya Jr. told Business Insider that the intelligence community is frustrated the president does not rail against Russia to the same degree he shares his criticism of the Justice Department and intelligence agencies.
"There is a lot of anger in the FBI (the entire intelligence community, for that matter) over how this president will say nary a negative word about the Russians, but will insult us every chance he gets," Montoya said.

The Russians are not trying to unseat a duly elected President. The Intel Community is, hence the criticism. Is this guy really that stupid?
>> Frank Montoya Jr. told Business Insider
BI is a liberal rag.
It seems wierd being a retired Vietnam and Gulf War veteran to say it but I trust the Russian media more than the western mainstream media. I trust Putin more than our previous President, all current elected democrats, and many current GOP elected officials. More to the point I do not trust anyone in our intellegence community, especially the FBI after recent revelations of the despicable behavior of a great many of these so called servants of the tax paying citizens, who they not so secretly anymore look down their noses at. Its time to flush the entire intellegence services and start all over from the ground up.
Shut your face, affirmative action dude.
And they are not claiming that they know how the DNC server info got to wikileaks without examining the DNC servers.
You could swing a dead cat in times square on new years eve and not find a single soul that would have ANYTIN positive to say aboot the Fibbies.
Just look at what they are trying Bobby Axelrod with...
"And Jordans question to Wray went like this: Director, did Peter Strozk help produce and present the application to the FISA court to secure a warrant to spy on Americans associated with the Trump campaign?
"Wray was not prepared to discuss applications tied to the FISA court, of course. But Jordan kept up the pressure and then gave his own conclusion."
"Lets remember a couple of things about the dossier," he said. The Democratic National Committee and the Clinton campaign, which we now know were one and the same, paid the law firm who paid Fusion GPS who paid Christopher Steele who then paid Russians to put together a report that we call a Dossier full of all kinds of fake news, National Enquirer garbage and its been reported that this dossier was all dressed up by the FBI, taken to the FISA court and presented as a legitimate intelligence document that it became the basis for a warrant to spy on Americans."
"The easiest way to clear it up is tell us whats in that application and who took it there," Jordan said.
Jordan finished with this: "Heres what I think I think Peter Strozk Mr. Super Agent at the FBI, I think hes the guy who took the application to the FISA court and if that happened, if this happened, if you have the FBI working with a campaign, the Democrats campaign, taking opposition research, dressing it all up and turning it into an intelligence document so they can take it to the FISA court so they can spy on the other campaign, if that happened, that is as wrong as it gets."
Jordan told Wray a simple look-see at the application that was sent to the court could clarify whether this occurred whether Strozk was implicated and involved in such a manner.
This shall not stand. We're looking at Treason, Rebellion and Insurrection, Seditious Conspiracy, Advocating the Overthrow of a duly elected President, and Subversive Activies. All in 18 U.S. Code Chapter 115 - Treason, Sedition, and Subversive Activities
Jeff Sessions, where are you?
Is it all right if he develops a non-hostile relationship with Russia vis a vis the Middle East, where both the US and Russia are now engaged? That ought to be an intelligence priority, not comparative public statements.
Heck, I would disband the FBI agency on grounds of corruption and fire all the employees.
>> I don’t much care what a former or for that matter current FBI agent has to say on politics.
Over the years, I’ve taken the unpopular position of defending the agencies. These days, I’m keeping my mouth shut.
Since at least 2016 The FBI has worked much harder to overthrow the Presidency than have the Russians
In fact, the FBI top bureaucrat Clinton cultists are further to the left than Vladimir Putin
I say hell yes!
I don’t think the agencies have a good excuse for helping H while lying that Russia was helping Trump.
The FBI, BATF can KMA. They are useless to real threats.
As I recall one honest circuit Judge recalled...let this honest young man off the Federal hook of political dishonesty to prosper.
And yes, he did.
Dear FBI,
I trust Russia more than you.
A lot more.
FYVM,
Chris
We expect the Russians to lie to us. It’s more serious if our intelligence community lies to us.
He calls 'em as he sees 'em.
What an ass. They are angry someone is calling them out on their un-American BS.
>> Mozart tells you what it’s like to be human. Bach tells you what it’s like to be the universe
And the Great Russian composers gave us conviction.
