Neither the media nor reporters are beyond criticism. When the media editorializes the news, make themselves the news or lies in news reports, they do not get “special” constitutional protections. If their “reports” do damage, they should be held liable.

The President has First Amendment rights, too.

When the news is clearly wrong, he can say so, and identify the person doing it.
