I would disagree. The Jeff-train has run out of steam...no energy...no motion...just resting there on the tracks. Jess hasn’t been truly back in Arizona since 2001 (when he first came to DC as a Representative). He hasn’t connected with locals there for 16 years. Other than reading the Phoenix or Tucson newspapers...that’s about it for Jeff knowing the state.
If you asked Jeff what NAFTA did to his state...he’d have no idea. If you asked how immigration has affected the state....again, he has no idea.

I saw Jeff Flake in Arizona when he was running for the Senate. It was obvious that McCain was guiding him, and had become his “Mentor”.
Flake has been completely corrupted by McCain and the rest of the D.C. establishment, IMHO.
He and many of his fellow travelers jumped the tracks a long time ago.
