Okay, I have combined to items posted on Drudge Report:
Juliet Linderman, "The Latest: Ex-aide: Franks offered $5m to carry his child", AP News, and
Looks like Representative Trent Franks' "discussion" was more than a little unusual.

5 Million dollar babies!
What a scumbag. He put his wife in the hospital with his stupidity. What a jerk. Glad Ryan forced him out. We don’t need nasty people like that in office. There is only 535 people in the Congress.....we certainly can find that little in a population of 330 million. Get rid of sexual predators, thieves, pedophiles, tax cheats, and so on. Remember we don’t need a single on of these jerks......535 good people is all we need.
“Franks had children conceived through in vitro fertilization with a donor egg, and carried by a surrogate.”
http://heavy.com/news/2017/12/josephine-franks-trent-surrogate-pregnancy/
Doesn’t sound like, “Have sex with me until you conceive...”
Where do these public servants get this kind of money?
Do they have anything to do with your total lack of reading comprehension?
.
Um, my understanding is he was seeking a surrogate, not sex. Did new information come out that he was seeking sex?
If they’ve had experience with surrogacy before, know how to legally go about it, why in God’s name would he importune his staffers?!
Wonder if the previous surrogacy agreement was legal, ethical, really happened...
Jeez louise...
.
One of our best congressmen, no wonder you hate him!
.
Rustlers, cut-throats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperadoes, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, con men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswogglers, horse thieves, bull dykes, train robbers, bank robbers, ass-kickers, shit-kickers and Methodists.
So in vitro was okay before, but not now. Granted sex is better route. And if Catholic, in vitro is out anyway.
I can read and comprehend just fine, pard.
I also prefer to trust but verify.
But, hey, if you wanna believe everything you read without question, be my guest. No skin off my nose. :-)
.
You impart an odor to this place!
.
Apparently, yes. Read the linked articles. The staff interpreted it as sex, not in vitro. Plus, there is link offered upthread that said he might have backed off in vitro.
They steal it. How else could anyone get that kind of money to throw around.
Franks sort of claims he made his money drilling wells of some kind in Texas and Arizona for about 20 years but that remains a mystery since he is on ly 60 and started in pubic office when he was about 28 to 30. The numbers in his bio story don’t seem to add up.
$5 million just to be a surrogate? Not my eggs?
Please have Rep. Franks call me.
It deprives kids of having a bond with the woman who gave them birth, and deprived the so-called "gestational carrier" (demeaning term: what is she, a perambulator?) her bonds with the kids she gave birth to. And, crucially, this is done deliberately, by plan.
Some kids have their natural bonds broken by chance. None should have them broken by choice.
Ill take all of those, just not the damn Irish! (- Im Irish)
$5 million is a lot of money.
So, I thought, why not look up Trent Frank’s net worth as disclosed or estimated through his congressional filings?
He’s supposed to be worth roughly $33 million, with a HUGE boost in his net wealth around 2009. Even with that much money, $5 million is a very significant expenditure.
With each news story about practices on Capital Hill a new TV or online series—a selection of new stories each week (based on real events). Looks like plenty for a robust, titilating, and endless series. Sex for money, prostitution, sex over threat of death, murdered interns, closeted homosexual perverts, and a clean up office to pay out settlements to keep it quiet.
He is 60 years old. They got married in 1980, which makes it likely that she is at least in her mid-50s. (I was 14 in 1980; I am 51 now.) At this point, she doesn't have "infertility": she has "post-menopause."
His children were born 8 years ago, when his wife was probably in her late 40s. Very few women, no matter how healthy, naturally have children after age 45.
Seeking to hire a uterus at this point in his and his wife's life is WEIRD.
