Even assuming you agree with the law you can stupidly claim, as you do, that their protected status forces other people to kowtow to their whims. Yes - the baker can’t say “we don’t serve your kind here” and that’s good. But the gay couple don’t get to say “bake me a cake that you find offensive because I demand it and you have to”.

Technically, whites and men are both “protected classes”. Every race and both sexes are protected classes under the law, regardless of minority status or anything like that.
