He is making the correct assumption that the tree that falls in the forest only makes noise to the one or two hunters who happen to be there. The calculation is that because the media will ignore it, for the vast majority of Americans, it didn't happen. Therefore, due to the complicity of the media and the Deep State, no, he does not care because he knows he's covered.
