It looks to me like the “DACA in exchange for Wall” deal has already been struck, but without the “path to citizenship” that was a step too far for the GOP to handle. This is just Pelosi setting up the messaging that she got a victory on this thing.
That would be a good deal/agreement.
I try to be somewhat reasonable in accepting that the dreamers deserve a measure of compassion.
This is especially true if they have indeed not known any other home country and have not broken any (other) laws.
Still, I concur NO path to citizenship should be included.
