Could be Gloria is actually fearing a lawsuit now and is trying to cut and run. I had a thoght that the woman might ahave decided to shake down Allred for some cash to NOT reveal that it was forged.
I can't figure out why else this would have come out.

Allred didn't want to pay, so she forced the woman to come clean.
