Yes, the 413 Max Wedge Engine was offered, to compete with the early GM and For muscle cars of the early ‘60s (Chevy 409,etc)

By the late ‘60s the real muscle cars came into existence, and faded by the 1973-74 era of smog controls and the first gas shortage.
