So you find adultery acceptable?
“I have recently learned that the Ethics Committee is reviewing an inquiry regarding my discussion of surrogacy with two previous female subordinates, making each feel uncomfortable,” he said in a statement. “I deeply regret that my discussion of this option and process in the workplace caused distress.”
He was an early and courageous pro-lifer. Also think he was a minister.
He and his wife could not have children naturally so resorted to surrocacy.
Such assisted conceptions can wreak havoc on people. Hope not awful..è
All these congressmen are quietly being asked to leaving in 2018 is what I read on the web. This comes across as more proof the corrupt and compromised ones are being asked to leave. Draining the Swamp in other words.
The congress that refuse to leave are being exposed to until they leave.
It’s not just D.C. too but the media and Hollywood.
What’s the count now?
I have never seen this many people leaving at one time.
“discussion of surrogacy”
What does that mean? Did he ask them to have sex with him so he could have a baby?
I need a Congressional translator... :-)
Yes, he was and a very nice guy, too.
I find adultery to be a personal matter between the people involved.
I don’t find it a capital crime or necessarily an impact on ones ability to legislate or lead.
OTOH - I find lying about ones ideology, actively hindering your alleged political party because of petty squabbles or actively working against the country to further ingratiate your position far greater problems in our government.
Depends on how you define good.
Hopefully they can help lead McCain to the exit.
It says he discussed surrogacy with 2 female staffers and it “made them uncomfortable.” I can’t see that as a reason to resign even though he says the Ethics Committee is going to investigate.
Had nothing to do with adultery. Asked a couple of female staffers how they felt about surrogacy. Ryan pushed him out.
Another wayward wick-dipping?
This is probably not sexual harassment but, any conversation with a woman could now be considered that.
Looks like we’ve gone over the cliff.
Guess who’s going to be the first to start pouting if we don’t talk to them.
“Probably making a fast exit before the list is released giving names of those who used the hush-slush fund.”
A possible connection?
