Don’t know where to begin with this. Dope dealing cons tossed in the slammer get their own state funded businesses dealing dope for the state? Probably the same head honchos funneling and playing =both sides. Saw some of this on a small scale back in the 80’s and 70’s. The BIG dealers went “legit” and the bad boys went to prison. The worst part isn’t the drug liberalization. It’s the idea that to let something be free it must be subsidized. But again think back to slavery and the ill fated proposal of 40 acres and a mule. It was a way of trying to make better what the government had made wrong.
